Wilkins Valley walk - Top Forks Hut, lakes, Kerin Forks Hut - Feb 2013

We avoided a 2 day, 14 hours walk with a half hour helicopter flight into Top Forks Hut from Makarora.  The next day we walked from Top Forks Hut to the Disappearing Tarn and Lakes Diana, Lucidus and Castalia, 8 hours return. On the third day we walked down the Wilkins River to Kerin Forks Hut (8 hours), overnighted, and took the jet boat back to Makarora .
